Giampaolo Sassano, as a young man, dedicated himself to his passions for the natural sciences and figurative arts. He is convinced that the artist must give form, colour, and image to his primoridal fantasies in search of establishing a metaphysic dialogue with others. The simple lines and bright colours associated with his paintings give them a striking amagalm of lively, modern, and phantasmagoric personages and landscapes, which are always inspired by his desire to learn more about himself.
